We’re not hiring atm - we have a great team already for our Summer 2025/2026?

BUT if you think your skills are top level, able to cope with the craziness of summer as NZ goes on holiday - we’re going to be busy with extended hours and are always on the lookout for ‘superstar staff’ who love being busy and happy to work as a team and know how to handle it when the going gets tough :)

You would need kitchen experience - cooking, prep work, cleaning, understand food control plans.

Customer sales experience - interacting with people from all walks of life, working on the counter, taking phone or food orders and making sales!

Seafood processing or packing experience - open oysters or getting dirty on the farm side?

Coromandel Oyster Co is a vertically integrated company - starting from growing our oysters through to harvest, process, retail, wholesale, and also the cooked product/tasting onsite.

We all work as a team here so it’s important that you have good communication skills as everyone has a valuable role to play.

We are a 7-day business, so every day is a holiday for our visitors.

You need your own accommodation and preferably your drivers’ license (or able to get to work independently) and ABOVE ALL be honest and a happy person?
